Start learning

Get access to your study platform and get started. With lessons one day a week and working four days a week, you'll learn everything you need to know as an IT professional.

Diploma ready

In four to six years, you will complete the course and receive a Bit Academy HBO diploma.

Admission Requirements

At Bit Academy, we keep things simple. For us, it's about customization and your success.

What are the degree requirements?

You need an MBO-4 Software Developer diploma or an equivalent international diploma.

Can I follow the course without the appropriate diplomas?

Yes, you can take an intake test to test your knowledge if you do not fully meet the entry requirements.

How old do I have to be to start this course?

You must be at least 21 years old at the start. Dutch full-time students with a starting qualification can get an exception.

Can I take this course full-time or part-time?

Yes, you can choose between a full-time and part-time option. A suitable workplace is required for part-time training. We will review these together. No workplace? You have three months to arrange this.

I am an international student. What are the language requirements?

An IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.

Costs

At Bit Academy, you follow a private course. Here are the most important costs to consider:

Tuition fees

Parttime: €7,500, - per year
Full-time (online): €4,200, - per year
Do you pay yourself? You may be able to apply for an additional DUO grant. More info about financial aid? Check Duo's additional grant.
Do you work part time? Talk to your employer about whether they want to finance the training,we'll be happy to help you with that conversation!

Travel expenses

With a private education, you are not entitled to a student travel product. All travel costs are at your own expense.

Laptop

You have a laptop with at least 16GB of memory, 256GB of storage, and a modern operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Suitable laptops usually cost between €1,000 and €1,500.
