To be admitted to Bit Academy, you must first apply to one of the instituions we partner with. With the MBO courses, once you finish your enrollment, Bit-Academy carries out the course.
You can register for Bit Academy at the Media College (Amsterdam), Horizon College (Purmerend) or Noorderpoort (Groningen). After you have registered, we ask you to take a selection test.
This is how we assess whether you are a good fit for the course. The test takes a few hours. We'll show you what it's like to program, how to think and how to tackle the problems. This gives us a good idea of your analytical skills, and you get a good idea of what programming actually is. We will take your test result with us to the introductory meeting.
Classroom lessons and fixed schedules, that's not what we do. You learn to program step by step by (helping) to build cool tech solutions. The study takes 3 years, but it can also take less time. You set your own pace and choose your own path.

Then new follow-up modules will automatically be available for you. You choose which module to continue with.
Learning to program can sometimes be quite frustrating. Fortunately, you don't do it alone with us. Are you stuck with an exercise for a while? Then you can join the Bit Academy Pro community 24/7. Brainstorm with other students about possible solutions, get help, or just have a chat. The coaches are actively watching, so if you still can't figure it out together, the coach will help you out.
Simply watching videos of someone playing the piano doesn't make you a pianist. It's the same with programming. Problem-based learning is therefore at the heart of Bit Academy Pro. We'll give you tips and resources, but you'll do the real work yourself. Because you learn by doing with us, you will soon really master the skills.

Yes, definitely! Years ago, it was necessary to be good at math to learn how to program. Fortunately, this is no longer the case these days. Programming also uses your problem-solving skills, while math is more active in the logical part. So you can be mathematically underdeveloped and still program well!
