You leave with a recognised HBO Bachelor's diploma and a portfolio that prepares you for professional software engineering work.
You study at your own pace, but not on your own. There are live classes two evenings a week in your online cohort. You do not have to be there: every class is recorded. And when you get stuck, you book a call with a teacher or your coach — seven days a week, as often as you need.

Yes. You never have to attend anything live: every class is recorded in NexEd, so a different timezone is not a problem. If you do want to join live, there are classes two evenings a week. You can also book a call with a teacher or your coach seven days a week. The Bachelor is fully online, so there's no need to be physically at a Bit Academy location.
240 EC over four years means roughly 30 hours per week on average. Combining with work? You set a sustainable pace together with your study coach, within the framework of the programme.
You hold an mbo-4, havo or vwo diploma. Without one, you can still qualify from age 21 through our 21+ entrance assessment (colloquium doctum). You also meet the language requirement (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for English). We discuss your situation in your intake.
The internship runs in your final year and lasts 12 months. Your current employer can serve as the placement host with a suitable tech assignment and a supervisor. No workplace? We help you find a partner company. Your Bit Academy coach keeps supporting you on the job throughout the placement.
