Who it's for

The Bachelor Online fits you if…

  • You want a real, accredited Dutch HBO Bachelor's (CROHO 39172), not just a certificate
  • You work, care for family, or travel; a fixed schedule doesn't fit your life
  • You're independent and find structure in yourself (or want to learn that)
  • You want to build thoroughly over four years, not pivot over four months
  • You're at least 21 and ready for the admission test
Who it's not for

Look further if…

  • You want to be working as a developer within 12 months: choose a bootcamp
  • You already work as a developer and just want to upskill: choose Bit Academy Pro
  • You need a fixed schedule to get started: there isn't one here
  • You can't read English technical documentation fluently
What you'll be able to do

Where you stand after four years

  1. You design, build and deploy complete software systems, independently and under deadline.
  2. You work at Bachelor level with teams: Scrum, code reviews, architecture, security.
  3. You have a portfolio with several substantial projects and a final graduation project at a real company.
  4. You leave with a recognised HBO Bachelor's diploma plus a portfolio that prepares you for a developer role.

How it actually works

Own pace, not alone

Online doesn't mean alone. You're in an online cohort, sparring with fellow students in the community, and you have a personal study coach who follows your progress through periodic 1-on-1 check-ins.

  • Personal study coach with periodic 1-on-1 check-ins
  • Community channel with fellow students
  • 24/7 access to NexEd and all assignments
  • Work-placement period during the programme (around three months)
"Studying online only works when the feedback is sharp. During our check-ins you hear what went well and what needs to be better. No generic course reactions, just critique on your code."
