ICT course routes

ICT Course

An ICT course at Bit Academy can take three forms in English: an accredited online HBO bachelor, a Bit Academy Pro track alongside your job, or an intensive Bootcamp. Below you'll see which route fits which profile.

Who is this for

Which situation matches yours?

Degree seeker

You want an accredited HBO bachelor. Online (self-paced) gives you the same diploma as on-campus, with more flexibility.

Working professional

You already have a job and want to develop or switch within IT. Pro (self-paced) is the route that combines work and learning.

Quick switcher

You want to be junior-ready in a year. The Bootcamps are full time and intensive, with quick work-readiness and an HBO-recognised certificate.

International student

Looking for English-language ICT routes? Bit Academy offers HBO Online, Pro and three Bootcamps in English. Note: there is no English MBO at Bit Academy.

What does 'an ICT course' mean today?

'ICT' is a broad term. It can cover software development, data, security, networks, cloud, AI or business IT. Bit Academy focuses on the software and data side: developer, data roles, security and AI. Classic network/sysadmin routes are offered by other providers.

An ICT course today is more than 'learning to type on a computer'. You learn to design, collaborate in teams, analyse problems and build software that actually works. The practical ability to ship something matters as much as theoretical understanding.

Which ICT routes does Bit Academy offer in English?

HBO Online Bachelor Software Engineering — four years, 100% online, accredited bachelor. Bit Academy Pro — online routes for working professionals at their own pace, recognised Pro certificate per route. Bootcamps — three full-time programmes (Full Stack, Data Engineer, Cybersecurity) with HBO-recognised certificate.

Which route fits depends on time, learning style and goal. Want an accredited degree? Pick HBO. Want to be junior-ready in a year? Pick a Bootcamp. Want to learn alongside work? Pick Pro.

Pro

Online, alongside work, self-paced. €59.99/month, recognised Pro certificate per route.

Bootcamp

Full time, 6–12 months, 100% remote. HBO-recognised certificate, placement included.
