ChatGPT Course
Want to learn ChatGPT and other AI tools in practice? Bit Academy offers Pro ChatGPT Expert: an online route that teaches you how to apply LLMs in your daily work and projects — beyond loose tutorials and YouTube videos.
Which route fits you?
Bit Academy offers different track types. For each route below you'll see who it's for, how long it takes and what certificate or diploma you receive.
Which situation matches yours?
Marketer, consultant, analyst
You work in a role where AI can substantially speed up output. You want to go beyond ad-hoc tools and get repeatable results.
Product or project manager
You run teams or products and want to evaluate AI possibilities well. You don't need to become an AI engineer; you do need to scope clearly what AI does or doesn't solve.
Developer adding AI
You're already a developer and want to use AI in products. Learn how to design prompts, use the OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and build simple AI apps.
Independent professional
You don't have time for full-time study but want to learn practically what AI changes in your work. The Pro route fits self-paced study alongside ongoing work.
What does a ChatGPT course at Bit Academy cover?
Pro ChatGPT Expert covers four practical areas: LLM fundamentals (how GPT, Claude and open-source models work), prompt engineering (patterns, chaining, evaluation), AI in workflows (Zapier, Make, custom scripts), and building simple AI apps with the OpenAI and Anthropic APIs. Plus a module on ethics and critical reflection: bias, hallucination, privacy.
The route is deliberately not only technical. You also learn to scope AI projects, set up evaluation criteria and explain to non-technical stakeholders why an approach will or won't work.
ChatGPT course vs degree vs tutorial
Three kinds of offerings on the market. Free tutorials on YouTube or blogs are useful for tricks but don't build a coherent skill profile. Paid courses (Coursera, Udemy) go deeper but are often video-only — without feedback on your work and without a portfolio.
A course like Pro ChatGPT Expert goes further: personal coaching, final projects that end up in your portfolio, and a recognised certificate that employers can verify. You receive feedback on your prompts and projects, not only video access.
Who is this for (and not for)?
For: professionals applying AI structurally in their role or team. Marketers, consultants, product managers, analysts and developers building with AI. People who want more than ad-hoc tools.
Not for: anyone wanting a quick intro to ChatGPT — see OpenAI's free resources or YouTube tutorials instead. Not for: anyone wanting research-grade AI engineering — an academic ML route fits better.
Pro, Bootcamp and HBO are not the same
Each track type has its own proposition. Below you'll see what each one stands for.
Pro
Online, alongside your job, self-paced. Typically 15–24 months, €59.99/month. Recognised Pro certificate, portfolio of prompt libraries and AI projects.

Answers to common questions
Do I need a technical background?
Not for the first half of the route (prompt engineering, AI in workflows). For modules on building AI apps some programming experience helps; you don't need to be a developer but you do need willingness to work with code.
Which models will I learn to use?
GPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and open-source alternatives. It's not about one tool but the underlying reasoning: which models to pick when and how to evaluate their output.
How is this different from courses on Coursera or Udemy?
Pro ChatGPT Expert offers personal coaching, feedback on your projects and a recognised certificate. Loose video courses give knowledge but no guidance or portfolio. With us you finish with final projects that go into your portfolio.
Won't this course go out of date quickly?
AI moves fast. That's why the route focuses on fundamentals and reasoning patterns (prompt patterns, evaluation, workflow design) rather than specific tools. Modules and case studies are updated as the field shifts.
Is this recognised?
Pro ChatGPT Expert ends with a recognised Pro certificate plus a portfolio (e.g. a prompt library for your team or a workflow automation). For a government-accredited course see our HBO routes.
